Live Fit Trainer

Tuesday!!!

Blah. Tuesdays are kinda boring aren’t they? Can’t really talk about the weekend anymore and the work week is in full swing. boo.

Anyways… I don’t have much time to write today because of work but I wanted to tell you about a new lifting program I want to try.

I’m thinking of trying the LiveFit Trainer Program by Jamie Eason. I’ve been looking to just try it out and see how it goes. I feel like my body is ready for a new challenge and I’m pretty excited about trying it out. I really haven’t done much traditional lifting since college (not sure if Body Pump Counts..i don’t go consistently enough) so this should be fun! I really like the look of this program because it is all layer out day by day for the 12 weeks.

Just click on it, open it up, and DO IT. Can’t be hard …. right?

There is information and rest days built in so I think it would be a nice change-up for the body. It is always good to change it up! ;)

Here’s what some of the workouts look like:

So it’s all pretty spelt out for you and seems like it wouldn’t take forever- my kinda workout.

The program is split into 3 phases and the first is mostly just building muscles… the next phase adds cardoio and the final stage adds HIIT. Although, I kind do all of those things now so maybe it will be a good addition. Of course Jamie also offers a nutrition plan and all that- but I’m more interested in the lifting part and really want to see if it will make a difference to me or not! I’ll be sure to let you know. ;) Also, I’m doing okay with my Tone It up Nutrition Plan. I think I will be starting this program tomorrow..but we will see if it happens.

  • Has anyone else ever heard/tried this Live Fit 12 Week program?
  • Do you like lifting weights? Yay or nay? Lifting heavy or more endurance wise?

I love to lift..i’ve lately been leaning more towards endurance, but I think trying to go heavy might be beneficial to me!

I’m excited to have a new goal in mind. It makes working out a little more exciting!

What are some of your fitness goals lately?

PS. Feel free to try this with me :)

oooh yay for a new challenge!! I’ve never tried the LiveFit – I lift more for endurance and in college I just did whatever the heck my coach told me and I never even thought about it (yeah I was like a little robot when it came to the weight room haha). This past year, coachless, I’ve been…uhhh lifting inconsistently hah. I would do something like LiveFit, but I don’t want to stop cycling and running and those are (as far as I’ve heard) inconsistent with the program…hmm. But I definitely need some structure so maybe I could just do the exercises but tailor the reps and weight to make it endurance based. hmmmm. But anyways! This is cool that your’e going for it and I can’t wait to hear your updates on it!

Ah same! All my lifting currently has been endurance wise so I wanted to mix it up. I hope it doesn’t effect cycling too much but I don’t think I want to go super heavy so we will see! :)

My fitness goals are basically the same, but I need to keep re-committing myself to them because I’m not actually doing much to achieve them. The main one is to strengthen my hips so I have less probs with my IT Band and hip flexors during and after my runs

ooo i know it’s hard to make sure you are doing those other exercises to strengthen those stabilizers..i’ve been trying to avoid the dreaded ITBS also!

I have tried LiveFit before and you know how much I love to lift weights ;) I didn’t do the whole program though nor did I follow it exactly. I didn’t do any cardio at all and I did phase 1 twice and then moved to phase 2 and did that twice. I never did phase 3 bc I didn’t need to carb cycle NOR did I want to be in the gym for almost 2 hours

Ok I am the same way. I seriously have it bookmarked on my webpage because I have looked at it so many times.right now because I don’t have a gym sadly I don’t think I can do it but I really want to do a modified version of it.

Ooo same! I think mine will be modified as well cause I don’t always make it into the gym… It could still work right? Haha I feel like you can modify this to work however you want which is cool
